In the Arizona desert, we have long and extremely hot summers and finding cool and comfortable environments is an absolute must for surviving the sizzling hot temperatures, which have been known to reach as high as 123 degrees fahrenheit. The experts and engineers in the fields of air-conditioning and commercial/residential building design and manufacturing state that the windows are accountable for up to 48 percent of the solar heat gain. In fact in the summer, most unwanted heat gain comes in the form of sun light radiating through unprotected glass. This glass is a building's most vulnerable area for heat gain. Approximately 60 square feet of windows can admit as much as 12,000 Btu of heat each hour, requiring one extra ton of air conditioning. The bottom is that this could make your home or office very uncomfortable and cause your electric bill to soar through the roof! Controlling this solar heat is extremely important in energy conservation and increasing the comfort of your environment. For real solutions, come visit our web-site.

I would like to see more cultural businesses listed - is there an Arizona Orchestra etc? Museum? Art Galleries? Those sorts of things - I may well have missed them in by browse, but I will be back. I was in Phoenix/Arizona several times in 95/96 to do some flying studies and I coudn't forget this beautiful state. It hasn't been one day since ...I haven't thought of the time spent in these valleys where when you look at the beautiful landscapes you can feel the might of the Creation. An unforgetable moment when you approach Sedona by plane and land up there on this "plateau" sort of "aircraft carrier". Coming from Phoenix, you first see the red cliffs and when it is your first time in AZ you just can't believe it's true. It's like living in a movie !! I am now settled down in a little village in the middle of France and I'd love to correspond with Arizona residents, exchange E-Mails, ideas etc ... Talk to you soon ...

I currently work with in one of the Head Start Programs in Milwaukee. I was wondering if there were any programs like this in Arizona that worked with children 3-5 years old and their families? If anyone can give me more info. on Arizona's school system, please email me. Thank you in advance.
